>> JBHS is commemorating 9/11 with several activities next week: 

        >> Sep 8 to Sep 10.  We are transporting all students to the Blake Library to view a special
presentation, which is touring the country.  We are fortunate to be on the list of scheduled stops. 
(Parents, your child should bring home a "Parent Permission" slip, which is due on Friday, Sep 5.) 

        >> Sep 12.  Mr. Dennis Smith, a retired New York City firefighter who offered his assistance
during the disaster and chronicled the events in his book Report from Ground Zero, will speak to our
students.  Mr. Smith is being sponsored by The Education Foundation of Martin County. 

>> School Advisory Council (SAC) is Thursday, Sep 4, 5:30 to 6:30 PM in the Media Center.

>> Hurricane Fay make up days:  The District determined school is in session on Nov 26 and Dec 22.

>> Homecoming is right around the corner!  (Sep 29 to Oct 3).  Check the Calendar link for details.

>> Drama's first production, "A Few Good Men" is underway.  Here's more information.

 >> A revised dress code takes effect, August 2008.  Here is the specific language, as well as a presentation

>> Parents and students, review the menu in our cafeteria. 

>> Parents: if your child needs to receive medication at school, please complete and return this form
